The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Ironing Mat

Ya know, sometimes you just need a small area to iron things on. An area that’s stable and HARD. Not your average cushy ironing board. It just doesn’t cut it (no pun intended). IroningPat-Finished

So, I decided to put together this quick and easy tutorial for an ironing pad and tell you how I use it in my sewing lab. You can make it in any size you like to suit your needs. This tute is a bit more involved than some others I’ve seen out there in cyber world, but it’s still a quick and easy sew-up.

I wouldn’t be without it. Most of the stuff I design and put together is on the small side, so something like this is the cats nuts!

I’m also pressed for space, so this is just perfect all around. You can even roll it up for traveling and tie it with ribbon, use a decorative piece of Velcro, or even a rubber band if that suits you.

Download the tute in PDF format HERE.

Let me know how you like it. I’d love to post some of your creations here in my Blog.

Yours in craftyness,

Annie
